Real Faith is by far the best discipleship tool I have seen. It transcends age, race, and gender. It has multiplication built into it. This means that everyone can multiply. It is also process driven, not material driven. There is no pressure to jump from one lesson to the next. You stick with the current lesson until you've internalized it. Bryan, Why did we begin Real Faith at Riverside? I think for 3 reasons:
- It’s simple. It doesn’t take a Bible College Graduate to sit down and meet one on one with another person and work through this material together. It’s a simple format and constructed in a way that most anyone can do it. Because of that, I think the face of Riverside Church will be changed as more and more people are involved in this process!
- It’s effective. Riverside is only one year old….we’re a new church and we’re new at Real Faith. So far, we’ve noticed that people who are involved in this process, experience exponential spiritual growth. It really is amazing! Once a person completes the 24 sessions, they have a great spiritual foundation for their entire life!
- It’s relational. The great and exciting part of this whole process is the fact that not only does someone learn Scripture and grow spiritually but they also build a relationship with another person! It gets people connected on a relational level and that’s important!
